Caring for a property spanning 45,000 square feet, which includes four buildings and two acres, and celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2024, presents a dynamic and demanding responsibility. The Handy Saints, a dedicated group of volunteers led by our Junior Warden, Melissa Heuer, and Todd Olberding, Volunteer Facilities Manager, meet regularly on Saturdays to maintain the Cathedral. Through their efforts and the contributions of many others, we demonstrate a steadfast commitment to preserving and caring for this sacred space. These collaborative endeavors highlight a community deeply invested in the nurturing and improvement of our beloved Cathedral.Typically, the Handy Saints meet once a month for a pizza and planning dinner, and once a month on a Saturday for a workday.
