During
Advent, the Church School prepares for our annual Christmas Pageant,
traditionally held during the 9:00 and 11:00 AM services on the fourth
Sunday of Advent. Children's Choir rehearsals are held Wednesday
evenings during Advent. Following a simple supper, the children sing
and are fitted with costumes, while their parents and any other
interested adults convene for topics of mutual interest, such as
parenting and family concerns.
This pattern is
repeated during Lent, when the Youth Choir prepares music to be
performed Easter morning. This past year the parents were one of
several small groups meeting to share their "faith stories." For more
