Next Sunday is Pentecost, also called Whitsunday, which is celebrated as the Birthday of the Church. In the Acts of the Apostles we hear the story of the Holy Spirit touching all the people, so we wear red this Sunday, the color associated with the fire of the Holy Spirit. We will be celebrating all the ministries in worship and in a reception in Dean Willey Hall.
