Every week volunteers meet in the Cathedral kitchen to cook meals for needy elderly and shut-ins and then deliver those meals throughout Oklahoma City. Mobile Meals has been an important part of the Cathedral outreach mission since 1979 and thousands of Oklahomans have been fed hot meals since that the ministry began. The Cathedral's Outreach Committee subsidizes this ministry and recipients that can afford to pay are charged nominal amount for each meal.

Mobile Meals volunteers plan weekly menus and purchase necessary food items. Cooks gather each Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. to prepare nutritious and appetizing meals. Driving volunteers come at 10:45 to deliver the hot meals.
