St. Paul's mission trip to Uganda in 2003

Since 1982, Volunteer Oklahoma Outreach Mission (VOOM) has been the coordinating body for the partnership between the Diocese of West Ankole of the Church of Uganda and the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma. The partnership between Christians in Uganda & Oklahoma has focused on rural health and education initiatives. Today the partnership supports sixteen community based health clinics and five academic & vocational colleges. Mobile health team services, orphan scholarships, and other special projects of the Diocese of West Ankole also receive grants from VOOM. Over the years members of St. Paul's have regularly traveled to West Ankole to share in mission work and community building activities.
