Virgin of Guadalupe Guild
Virgin of Guadalupe Picture

The Virgin of Guadalupe Guild exists for the purpose of providing outreach to our Hispanic neighbors nearby and faraway. We partner with the Episcopal mission, Santa Maria Virgin, in South Oklahoma City, and with neighbors in faraway Reynosa, Mexico. We are made infinitely richer by our relationship with these neighbors.

The Guild is named for the Virgin of Guadalupe, the most beloved of all Hispanic saints. The Blessed Virgin appeared on December 9, 1531 to Juan Diego, a devout follower of Christ, and bid him to build a church in the desert. The Virgin of Guadalupe remains a symbol that even the seemingly impossible is possible through the power of God.
