The Rt. Rev. Steven Charleston was born and raised in Oklahoma. He is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation. He has holds a B.A. in Religion from Trinity College, an M. Div. from the Episcopal Divinity School, and three honorary doctorate degrees. He has served the church in many roles, including diocesan Bishop of Alaska. He is passionate about preserving the integrity of God's creation through sustainable environmental practices and about the welfare of all animal life. He is married to an artist, Suzanne Charleston. He has one son, Nick, who teaches the Choctaw language.
The Rev. Canon Susan Joplin has served on the clergy staff of St. Paul's Cathedral for 20 years, first as Curate and then as Cathedral Canon. Having been part of St. Paul's for one-third of her years, she sees her own faith development as having been strongly influenced by the give and take of many years of Cathedral life. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts followed by a Master of Music degree in her earlier life, she was also graduated from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in 1991 with a Master of Divinity degree. She has lived happily with her husband, Larry Joplin, for the past 15 years and has a special interest in Liturgy, Outreach and, most recently, finding new ways of opening Cathedral doors for the sake of the greater community of downtown Oklahoma City.

Wife of Jim, Mother of Jaime, Clay, Diana and Neal, Grandmother of Jon, Luca, Colin, Kira, Nick, Isabela and Carolina. I am passionate about my church, my Caddo heritage, my family, and social justice which I believe Scripture requires of us.
Marilyn Robertson, a.k.a., MR, has been attending St. Paul’s since 1993. She enjoys horses and is known as a “horse whisperer”. She was ordained a perpetual Deacon in 2008 and has been serving at St. Paul’s. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been a nurse for 25 years. She has been the Parish Nurse at St. Paul’s since 2004 and is active on the St. Paul’s Health Team. She is passionate about outreach and mission work. She is a joy to be around and usually brings a smile to the face of those around her.
